Click the pale yellow  [Fr] button on the Engineering Keypad to launch the Resonant Frequency Calculator. For a detailed description of the Multiple-Entry Calculators, click this link.

Enter any two values, on entering the second value the two remaining values are calculated and displayed. Reactance (X), Capacitance (C), Inductance (L), or Frequency (F). Before inputting any values click on the option buttons to select the units for the components. Once you select the units they will remain in effect until you exit REC unless you choose to select them as default.

Note: Changing units for this function will also change them for 'Sr', 'Pr', and 'Zn'. The first two function offer a more complete series or parallel resonant circuit analysis.

Here we solved for X and F given a 200 pF capacitance and 5 H inductance.
