Click the pale yellow  [Sr] button on the Engineering Keypad to launch the Series Resonant Circuit Calculator. For a detailed description of the Multiple-Entry Calculators, click this link.

This function calculates the input impedance, Zin, the resonant frequency, Fr, and Q of the series circuit shown. After calculating the aforementioned parameters, you can find the impedance at any other frequency. This function lets you change the units used in the calculation. Once you select the units they will remain in effect until you exit REC unless you choose to select them as default.

Rp (default value is > 10100Ω), Rs, C, and L are all required values.

Note: Changing units for this function will also change the units for 'Fr', 'Pr', and 'Zn' functions.

After solving for these components, click the Fr option button, enter any frequency to find the impedance (magnitude and angle) of the circuit at that frequency.
