The Trigonometry Keypad
(Just
the keypad is shown, the remainder of the calculator is unchanged, Click the
keypad to see the entire calculator and use your Web browser's Back
button to return to this page. )
A trigonometry calculator with many common and some special
functions:
H, X, Ø: These three buttons are used to solve right triangle
problems with only two known variables (Shift+X is used to enter
the ordinate, Y, and Shift+Ø is used to enter, theta, the angle
opposite Y).
P:R: Polar to Rectangular, convert polar coordinates to rectangular
coordinates; and (Shift+) Rectangular to
Polar, coordinate conversion function
S1, S2, S3: These three will solve for any defined plane triangle
with only three known variables (Shift+S1, S2, or S3
is used to enter the adjacent angles A1, A2, or A3)
h:m: Convert between hours-minutes-seconds and decimal hours. (It
works for degrees too)!
sin thru cot: Calculate all the trig functions, and their
inverse, with these six
buttons.
p: Eight constants involving pi
(3.1415..).
arc: Solve arc length problems (chord, angle, or arc length).
snh, csh, tnh: Hyperbolic sine, cosine and tangent and their
inverse.
R:D: Convert between grads, radians, and degrees.
Öx Square root of x. Ctrl+X
from the keyboard.
x²: x squared. Shift+Ctrl+X from the keyboard.
1/x: Reciprocal of x. X from the keyboard.
V·A: Enter a diameter and calculate 8 miscellaneous Volumes
and/or Areas of cylinders, cones, frustums, spheres, and circles.
