Click the pale yellow  [Zn] button on the Engineering Keypad to launch the Impedance of a Ladder Network  Calculator. For a detailed description of the Multiple-Entry Calculators, click this link.

Enter the frequency (Freq) first, then enter a parallel element; Rp, Lp, or Cp (the first element entered must be a parallel element). The element entered is tracked in a mini-tape, and the magnitude and angle of the input impedance (Zin) is displayed after each element is entered.

From this point on, enter either a series or parallel element as the circuit dictates.

This function lets you change the units used in the calculation. Once you select the units they will remain in effect until you exit REC unless you choose to select them as default.

Elements are added one at a time starting from the right as viewed from the schematic above.
